Career and Technical Education (CTE) Finance

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Finance is responsible for the administration of State and Federal funds that support career and technical education programs, services, and activities.  These programs and services provide secondary, postsecondary, and adult students with the knowledge and skills needed for employment in current or emerging fields, to continue their education, or to be retrained for new business and industry practices.  This applies to local educational agencies (LEAs) that operate Department-approved CTE pr

Budget

This section is responsible for preparing and presenting the Department's annual budget request, implementing and monitoring the approved budget, preparing fiscal responses as requested by the Legislative Oversight Division and providing additional information requested by the Office of Administration, Governor's Office, House of Representatives and Senate.

This section also maintains the Department's state fleet and the Department's recycling program as a member of the Missouri Interagency Recycling Committee.

Financial & Administrative Services

The Division of Financial and Administrative Services is responsible for distributing all federal and state funds to local school districts, public charter schools and other agencies that provide education-related services.  The division assists local school officials with budgeting, audits, and the reporting of financial statistics, both state and federal.  The division also provides assistance with school administrative and governance issues.  Other personnel in this division administer the federally funded school lunch and breakfast programs.&nbs
