Educator Preparation
EPP Accreditation
The Missouri State Board of Education voted to accredit all 42 Missouri Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) for the 2024-25 Academic Year. The State Board’s decision is recognition of the commitment that faculty and staff in those institutions have to the children of Missouri. DESE’s recommendation that all EPPs be accredited was based upon data generated by the Annual Performance Reports for Educator Preparation Programs (APR-EPP). State Testing Transition to ETS
After July 1, 2024, tests required for certification will be provided by ETS instead of Pearson. Information about that transition can be found here.
