The Infant Toddler Child Care Collaborative Network (ITN) is a statewide quality initiative available across seven regions in Missouri. This initiative provides free onsite consultation and training to increase the knowledge and skills of the child care workforce when working with infants up to 12 months of age and toddlers up to 24 months of age.

Who is eligible for Infant Toddler Network services?

Licensed and license-exempt infant and/or toddler child care centers.

What services are provided?

• Annual Best Practice Trainings (clock hour training) specific to infant toddler best practices, such as personal care routines, infant and toddler activities, program structure, family engagement, relationship-based care, and interactions between the caregiver and infant/toddler.
• Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) Observations to assist in identifying areas to target for improvement for each child care center.
• In-Person Cohort Trainings (clock hour training) tailored to the individual needs of each child care center to promote high quality, responsive, and relationship-based infant and toddler care.
• Onsite Consultation visits provided to licensed and license-exempt child care centers to meet the specific needs of each child care and early learning program.
