Preschool Child Care Collaborative Network

The Preschool Child Care Collaborative Network (PN) is a statewide quality initiative available across seven regions in Missouri. This initiative provides free onsite consultation and training to increase the knowledge and skills of the child care workforce when working with preschool children ages two through five in child care centers.

 

Who is eligible for Preschool Network services?

Licensed and license-exempt child care centers serving preschool children ages two through five.

What services are provided?
  • Annual Best Practice Trainings (clock hour training) specific to preschool best practices, such as personal care routines, preschool activities, program structure, family engagement, relationship-based care, and interactions between the caregiver and preschooler.
  • Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) Observations to assist in identifying areas to target for improvement for each child care center.
  • In-Person Cohort Trainings (clock hour training) tailored to the individual needs of each child care center to promote high quality, responsive, and relationship-based preschool care.
  • Onsite Consultation visits with licensed and license-exempt child care centers to meet the specific needs of each child care and early learning program.
