Missouri Ed-Fi

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has indefinitely paused our efforts at rolling out an Ed-Fi implementation with our local education agencies (LEAs).  We will no longer be migrating our data collection efforts to the new Data Validation Portal (DVP) and will instead continue to collect data from our LEAs using the existing tools and processes that we currently have available.

We are excited about the ongoing work to standardize how educational data flows between systems and are committed to completing our implementation of Ed-Fi in the future.

  • Q: What is Ed-Fi?
  • Q: What is DoubleLine?
    • A: DoubleLine is a data and technology strategy-based company based in Austin, TX, that provides services to state and local government agencies and non-profit clients. DoubleLine has partnered with DESE to build the DVP application.

    • A: DVP stands for Data Validation Portal. The Data Validation Portal is an application that will allow LEAs to submit, validate, and certify data directly from their SIS to DESE in a near real-time process. Over time, this should decrease the burden on LEAs’ data reporting.
